As an O.G (Original Geekster....300bps anyone?) nothing spins the the propeller on my hat as hard as a good Google ranking.

Oh yeah!

As at time of writing (by the time of reading it may have changed, such are the vagaries of the internets) the Stormcellar Band Page is officially What You Want when you Google 'Stormcellar' (one word) and 2nd most likely thing you want when you Google storm cellar (two words).

To all those folks who have wound up on this site cos you're looking for a weather shelter, apologies. However, we make GREAT listening whilst hiding in a stormcellar.

Also big ups to the Stormcellar marketing guys, the Moscow Stormcellar and all the other synonyms, homynyms, antonyms and variants! Tomorrow we might be Down The Bottom of Da Page, but for today, depending on spelling, limited time offer, send money now, we are Number 1 (or 2) in The Hood G! weekend gig reports! Pendle Inn and Harp!

Howdy Folks.

Big weekend of gigs. A shout out to Prune, Hamish and Sambo at the PI. By the end of the night the crazy dancing was happening and yes, once again, the requests for 'Copperhead Road' were present. Must learn that one.

Sunday saw us at the Harp in Tempe for a 4 band line up with Alter Ego and Los Skeletone (whose van rivals Carl's - watch out Carl!). The Cristina Crofts band had to pull out at the last minute due to a Airline Booking Malfunction which was a shame, but none of the bands complained about being able to play a little longer than scheduled.

Hey to Matt, Tony, Penny and the folks who joined us at the Harp for a great afternoon.

Cheers also to DDJ for the loan of some extra equipment bits (commiserations on insane percussionists).

We have (amazingly) a weekend off this coming weekend and then we're off to the country the following weekend (wagga?).

Ok whose idea was it to get all fancy-shmancy with the CD booklet artwork? HMM?? Oh. Mine, Right.

Ay-yi-yi - This took a while. To create a booklet that captured the ideas that went into Nuevo Retro involved CB Modeler Pro, 3DXML viewer, Photoshop and a bunch of hacking and tweaking.
