With Nuevo Retro entering final mix phase, it's time to cast our eyes (ears?) towards the next project, presently entitled 'Carl's Chair' and yep, you guessed it, its time for another experiment in sound.

Whiskey Talkin (SC1) was a straight digital audio production. Spacejunk (sc3-ep1) was straight analogue..ok...almost all analogue (e.g except for the CD release and the digital extractions we did of the 8 track stuff that went wonky) and Nuevo Retro (SC2) is once more DDD.

Every now and again you have one of those gigs that remains with you for a while. I feel I have had one of those. But, as is our peculiar method of torture on this site, we will lay it out vaguely chronologically as we venture into the Wagga Blog!

Carls Van

Carl, our good friend, has gone mad. Stark, staring, barking, raving bonkers. He has bought himself a very nice Van and has decided to do some roadie stuff with us. True, it is a very nice van. True, Carl does have 'other' things he plans to do with it, but still....

Welly well well, what a weekend.

Last weekend we hit the road and went drivin' south playing shows in Mt Beauty and Albury.

For some reason I looked up the weather forcast, read that it said 'hot' ... and still managed to pack for 'cold'. Yep sweaty and stinky were both me ... usually it's only one of the two.

On the way down we stopped at Holbrook which has a big submarine in the ground ... see ...



One of us hurt himself with stuffed chillies - three was enough ... there were tears.
