What a great weekend. As we head toward Christmas madness, fend off bus strikes, overpriced grocer items and the myriad of small things that assail you around Christmas time, we have spent two great nights out on the boogie.

Rosie was on fire last night at the Fitzroy, everything he did just  seemed to flow.  At one point during the set I stepped back and just listened to what was going on around me, and man, was it tight.

We got our very own fog machine a while back (how retro can you go) and Carl decided to run it for the evening, with special attention to Swamp Monster.

A reminder to those who have expressed an interest in being 'Ears' for the initial post-mix review of Nuevo Retro (SC2) that its time to start getting your Ears shined and cleaned.

We'll be issuing a report sheet and a copy of the initial mix to the Ears as soon as next week. See your friendly stormcellar representative (that person in the band what you know) to confirm your participation in the Ears process.

After collating and reviewing your feedback (and our own particular preferences) we will tweak the mix and then send it off to mastering.

 Back to the scene of our Blues Festival appearance, at the Fitzroy Hotel in Windsor at 8pm on Friday 18th December and then at 7:30 PM  at the Pendle Hill In on Saturday 19th December. No cover charge (free, as in beer...)*

*no actual free beer, its a metaphor
