Great so we're done then, right?

No.

We have to review the mastered versions.

Ok, so then we're done, right?

Sure.

Great.

Except for the artwork

Nope that's done.

Even the back panel with the song durations?

err....sort of.

And?

Well, that will depend on whether you approve the fade out locations on the mastered files.....

We're not done yet are we?

No.

Reg'lar 'cellar feller Nick T told me a curious tale at the show on Saturday night.

A friend of his had spotted two Stormcellar US Tour T-shirts at a garage sale in Byron bay.

Given that there can't have been more than 50 of the things in Aus (plus a bunch in the US) , we're at a loss as to how the heck they got there. Them what's bought them spent spent good money on'em...hmm...

Mysterious....

Howdy!

Throw another snag on the barbie? – how about add another round of vehicular shenanigans to the Stormcellar mythos.

For those of you who’ve been reading our blog for a while you’ll recall that over the years we’ve had a few car issues on the way to gigs – some far flung (the gigs, not the cars) and some local.

From the time that Mal’s station wagon was stolen and burnt out while we played a gig in Thirroul, to me writing off mine ahead of a gig in Rozelle, to the time Theo and I were stranded outside Bathurst on the way to Cumnock to the time when Theo and I were stranded outside Bathurst on the way home from Cumnock. And let’s not forget the fish van that we took to Newcastle that one time!

Well it had been smooth sailing on the high seas for too long and it was time for the next instalment.

After a long intro, cutting it short:

Mr Wander’s car broke down around Leura on the way to Iron Fest in Lithgow. Help was provided by a good friend of the band, Theo and ze drums arrived in time for us to do the gig. The repairer repaired the car. We picked up the car. Got as far as Leura again and it broke down again. We left the car in Leura and stayed at a family member’s home in Blaxland overnight. Note to self: when leaving a vehicle somewhere other than in your garage … ie in another town, take note of the street name … it may prove useful later.

We found the car. Booked a tow truck. Had a wonderful breakfast at Café Madeline in Leura:

Waited for the tow.

And then waited for the tow.

And then … you get the picture.

We are hard on our vehicles.

Stranded band selfie:

Inbetween all that there was Ironfest:

Steam-punk sorta ...

These guys gave me an early 80s L.A. post-apocolyptic vibe ...

I've been watching True Detective - everything that is spindly and Southern and eerie is creeping me out a the moment. Dreamcatchers ...

Oh and so do spectres!

There was this guy ...

And this guy ...

btw ...

Yep ... Ironfest!

Cheers,

Rosie

Howdy folks.

Spent a great ANZAC day at Ironfest on Friday.

I took pics and vids but I only caught a fraction of wat was happening as I was on PA duty for the bands. Thanks to Dr Tom for last minute help on PA gear.

It's the last day today so if you're reading this, stop and go to Lithgow now.

If you can't make it, here's some of what you might see.

And in keeping with the New Way, here's all the videos fromt he day all edited and stuff. And a bit of our mates Sideshow Annie during their performance I love those gals. And guys.!

Cheers to El for help with the wires and buttons. for the life of me I cant work out why I couldnt get Metering on that desk...hmm...

Jo joined us for some songs, I got my chai and some Bilpin Apples. Good result.

Last night we followed up with a show at the Royal in Bondi, where Dr Tom got Rock Star parking.

I'm having a bit of a disagreement with my phone camera at the moment so I only got a few shots that worked (sadly) but a good nigh was had by all.

Cheers to our French visitors, Paddy, Miriam, Helen, Mark and all the folks that joined us at the RHB last night. We'll b back there in May.

Meanwhile, i have album art to crack on with!
