Howdy Folks.

With the album now pressed you might think that the pressure is off, I can finally post those last couple of 'making of' blogs, some random art and be chill.

We've even got a weekend off, although Theo's O/S taking care of family affairs (Hey Theo, I know you;re reading this, say Hi to everyone)

So, back to easy st.

Nope. i had to get all clever with this 'magazine' accompaniment to the Album and it's a task. I kinda knew it before I started it but yikes.

I tried talking it over with the boys. It's gonna cost us money to make, it's utterly pointless, completely non commercial. A waste of sweat And mouse clicks...

and aslo...completley awesome.

It ought to be done soon, I'll post some pics of the finished art and then you can try and get your hands on one.

It's with sadness that we acknowledge the recent passing of two extended band family members.

Henk Wanders and Grace Kissell.

They never met, lived on two different continents, but we're here because they were here.

Unsurprisingly, both were lovers of music.

We wish Theo a safe journey to The Netherlanads

Godspeed, onward travelers.

Infinite recursion and Limbo with LED's - weekend gig report

Howdy folks.

We unexpectedly got some copies of the album early and dropped them off to the only retail outlet in the entire world with Stock: The Vintage Record in Annandale.

In a moment of infinite recursion, here's Phil inside the shop on the front of the cd, in front of the cd with the front of the shop on the front of the CD.

True I should have had him pose in the same possie to get the effect but that'd just be naff.

In an entirely appropriate and ironic twist, none of the customers who visit the Vintage Record would dream of buying a 'CD'.

So if you go there they'll probably have stock. On the other hand, CD's are now becoming a rarity in and of themselves.

Still, it made Phil's day. As he said, holding up a CD, 'this is forever' :-)

Last night we played the RHB where we're moving up in the world.

Our font size is now equal to Mitch's :-)

Gerry at DJ warehouse has got me going with the lasers, which we added to Dr Tom's system.

Jo was with us, it was a pretty big night. Shout outs to Steve and Rowy, Nick, Chrissy, Allanah, James and all the folks who spent the evening with us.

We've had dry humpings, car jackings, naked flashing, bar fights, hickeys  at gigs - and that's just the audience!

Last night was the first time I've seen Spontaneous Limbo dancing.

When a lass walked towards me with a pool cue I started to consider that my last ad lib reference may have proven unwise, until she turned her back, stuck out the cue and then had the crowd proceed to limbo through.

Like I said. BIG night.

Howdy Folks. here's' the weekend gig reports for those of you not able to make it out :-)

Firstly, Happy Birthday to Ange.

Ange knows the words. That's so awesome.

Happy Birthday Ange!

Also big shout outs to Jerry at DJ Warehouse.

I had some idea that we should try some extra lighting effects this weekend and there's been a new shipment of lights in, Jerry hooked me up.

The Lasers were AWESOME, the flashing things were very flashy.

Also Low Down dirty Shame were aweome too. Thanks to Jeff, Andy and the lads for coming out!

Did I mention Lasers?

There were some unexpected pyrotechnics when Mr Wizards Amp blew a fuse. It was a late late finish.

Saturday Night at Shady pines was full of girls who danced in 1 spot.

I couldn't work out why so many people seemed rooted to the spot, grooving and jiving, but not actually moving their feet.

Then someone suggested we have a look at the footwear.  Apparently, dancing in stilletos is hard.

Ok, I gathered some video together and cut it into this thing so you c an see some of the evening.
