Two items leap from the pages of life.
1. Thanks to Gray Read from earth Audio for doing more wiring things with my In Ear Monitors. The custom ear pieces have a connector to the main wire that's a little temperamental. Thanks Gray.
2. way to go Rosie. Rosie's amp blew up last night at song 2, after he had lugged it up 3 flights of stairs. Calmly, cooly, he swapped over to a DI channel and continued the set. For that he is awarded the Order Of Zaphod.

Let us now sing the hoopy Frood song.
We are honored by the support of so many local legends for our fundraiser this coming sunday, Aug 3, Bald Faced Stag, Leichhardt.
$25 on the door, what a lineup
PRe sale tix at gobookem.com/events/1517

Our 2nd last gig before we head over to the US. $10 on the door after 9. We start at 9. Lazybones, 2/294 Marrickville Rd, Marrickville NSW 2204

You know the night is going to be good when you get parking directly outside the venue. Rockstar Parking.

Oh. And here's a Rock Star.

At Dave's behest we did some Canned Heat, even though the boys swore they'd never play that song again, such is their respect for him that they obliged.
I've been re-listening to some of his bands stuff after being so inspired and I am again reminded how bloody good that band is. Cheers Dave.
Saturday and Sunday were both Bondi gigs, one on the hill, one on the beach.

Gosh it's pretty. yes. I said Gosh. I know.

The Icebergs is a last bastion of Speedo Clad Aussie blokes bobbing about in the water, and like so many of the clubs we've played in, has a strong sense of community. Playing some music in such surrounds is a very nice way to spend an afternoon.

The Royal on Saturday 'went off' and is fast becoming one of the premier live music venues in Sydney

We're now considered honorary Bondonians...bondinians...Locals after several years of playing there.
Cheers to Natasha who wanted some new Ink from the band. Mr Wizard obliged.

Shout outs to Jill, Lou, Cam, Natasha, Scott, Nick, Heather, Clara, that bloke from france, the irish guys, Dave and all the folks who joined us for the weekend.
Oh yeah, here's some video from the weekend.
We have two shows this coming weekend before our O/S Tour. Come out and see one!
Howdy Folks
We have two more shows to go this weekend but I felt like sharing. Big thanks to the Blues Angels for joining us last night at the Townie.
There was a big kerfuffle on the train lines which meant that the night didn't really start until after midnight, then it got hectic.

Bill joined us on Bass and discovered that the Townie has a Scalex Racetrack! as he said, how come I didn't know this was here? good question, its your local Bill. get on top of it mate.

Here's Frank from the Blues Angels realising he didn't have time to race cars before the show

I caught some action from The Blues Angels doing some Tom Waitts
After the Blues Angels, we kicked off and in the break before the 2nd set, the house filled up and things got raucous.

Big cheers to Max, Kate, Jesus, Greg, Scott, Anna (thanks for the dance) and all the folks who joined us for the morning.
I had one special moment after the show when a chap came up to me after the show and asked for a hug. AWWW. I shall refer to him as SUBJECT A.
Turns out he was having a better night that most, having taken some Really Good Acid.
Now you know, Dear Reader, that we don't Judge here in the Stormcellar. We believe your business is your business, but we do advocate being Safe, however you get your kicks.
I had a chat with SUBJECT A and he was having a great night, peaking just as we kicked into Set 2. Understandably, the combination of music, Acid and Lights blew his mind. Fortunately he didn't have far to travel home. That's good. Acid is powerful medicine, right Don Juan a Yacqui?

So just for you, unnamed traveller along the psychic paths, here's some old school Amiga Demo Acid Action. House/Geekcore!
.
We're on again tonight and tomorrow in Bondi at The Royal & Icebergs, respectively and no matter what you're on, we love you.
Come find your happy place in the Stormcellar.
