Gary and Michelle were with us last night. They hooked up at a gig of ours 7 years ago. I can't even remember the venue.

And remember, at the last show we did at the Coast Hotel we had a marriage proposal and acceptance. 

At our last Townie show in newtown, a certain bloke came up to me because he'd gotten hooked up at the last show and said we were good for his chances. I saw him swapping digits with a lass by the end of the night

Theo's niece married one of the managers of one of the venues we played.

Are you seeing a pattern yet?

I posit that good vibes + You + Mating Potential = A Good Night Out.

We'll supply the vibes, you should maybe do your hair.

Love is in the hair.

 Cheers to Beck and J on sound and light for making my life easy, to Steve, Steve, Alex, Sandy, Nancy, Noel, Melanie and all the folks who came out to see us. Wow Alex you drove a long way dude cheers.

Also a big shout out to Darren at the Coast for making their venue a live music scene once again. Yes you can be entertained at home but you'll make connections with humans at one of our shows. 

We're having a big January of shows. Come spend some time with your friends in the stormcellar and you might make a new friend too! 

Howdy Folks.

I did a quick action item to do list the other day for 'band' related stuff and found 72 items circling.

This isn't a band. This is air traffic control.

Yes, the days of armies of ninjas to conduct your band business are either gone, or may not ever have existed.

Or maybe they do exist, but being ninjas, we'll never know about it.

Meanwhile, having just released EFLH (yeah we use acronyms. we're busy.) I am negotiating my way through the next album which is still in the studio.

6000 miles away.

In Kansas.

In a studio run by a mad scientist.

I also have to negotiate with the appointed artist liason for the other artists involved in the project.

and the artists themselves.

Beyond the next album we also have stuff for the next-next album in production - 1 song awaiting mastering, another in mix, another due for commencement shortly.

You can have quite a bit of fun if you set your mind to it. We may be having all the fun at the moment. Come to a live show and be a guinea pig for new songs. New experiments.

Heya!

One of the things that I find gratifying is when someone thinks enough of our music to include it in their own creative output – such as a radio show. It’s just that little bit more gratifying when the show is based somewhere outside your home town … and then a little more when it’s outside your home country.

Yep we’ve been added to a show that’s based in the UK … and I’m rather thrilled.
