Howdy Folks. Once again I'm listening to unreleased stuff. Better Off Without You (or, fittingly in memoriam, BOWY for short) was recorded in Indiana last year on tour. We added some vocals to the middle 8 courtesy of Jo and Ben here at Everland and sent them back for integration.
It's taken a few months for the song to come back to me, courtesy of a most excellent mix by AJ at SS in IN :-)
So far it's passed muster and it joins Return Of The King in awaiting the mastering and release.
But when?
But why?
Why are we here at all for that matter?
I truly must stop watching these BBC physics shows after gigs.

The Universe is made up of Matter, Antimatter, Dark Matter, No Matter and Unreleased Stormcellar Material.
Everywhere Feels Like Home is only a few months out of the stable and I'm pushing to get completion on our KC sessions.
Meanwhile, ROTK and BOWY are awaiting release and we're confirming recording dates for our next 'studio work'.
Ah yes. Plus the other singles we'd like to record here before we go on tour again.
There's been quite some internal discussion about when to release things. One side of the argument says 'don't crowd your product, give it time to breathe'. Another argument is 'they're coming to take me away! Ha ha! Hee Hee!' and release whatever you feel like, whenever you feel like it.

Mr Wizard follows Scandal, the J-pop band and says they release stuff all the time so why shouldnt we.

What are the rules these days, anyway?
So. Once again, Dear Reader, i'll be listening to work I cannot share until we work out what to do with it. Most peculiar.
