There's an error on the first batch of CD's. A typoe. None of us noticed. I was meant to be proofing it and...didnt...so...um....

That will make the first 110 'Collectors' editions.

I'd blame COVID but nah, that was me.

Limited edition CD's for best of downtime are in. Despatching this week.

Sydney is silent in Lockdown. I have seldom heard less in the world. It is as quiet as christmas, maybe more so.

As quiet as if snow has fallen.

With lockdown extending week by week, the unease and anger gives way to the strange floating what-day-is-it timelessness of perpetual homestay.

How can things can go back to 'normal' after this? What will Normal be?

When the opportunity presents itself, we will return to recording, and the next season of downtime.

With vaccination and better management of quarantine, we may even be out in public again.

Meanwhile, sending you safe and relaxed vibes. Follow the best logic and science you have available and stay safe.

After what seems an interminable time period - Best of Downtime is finally out. Ok. No problems.

And now a bunch of collections are pending, and there are 3 other things in Post or production.

Will they make it? How long will it take?

When will we have some shows to pay for it? LOL.

Dear creators: next time someone tells you the key to marketing is making a youtube video, consider this:

500 hours of content are uploaded to youtube every minute. Let that sink in.

Surviving an industry predicated on draining participants for funds means not feeding cuckoos.

Getting above the noise is hard. Even the Titans are begging you for your attention.

A quote attributed to Aleister Crowley is 'every man, every woman, is a star'.

Be excellent at your craft, have fun doing it, enjoy some self satisfaction from making stuff.

Expression is good. Empowering.

Just don't be too surprised if no one is listening, because everyone's talking :)

Do stuff cos you love it. The rest is too random to game :)
