Ladies Playgroups are Fun! Weekend gig report

Howdy Folks. Yes, the annals of a working band continue, as we played our first gig at the Kurnell Recreation Club. Apols to Wayne, one of our Fb friends who was stuck next door and couldn't get away from work to make the gig. So close yet so far.

"Next door" of course is a Caltex...um...thingamajig plant. It had so many Achtung! Verboten type signs on it I was afraid to take pictures as I thought i might get reported for Security Breaches or something.

When we arrived at the KRC, the Xmas Raffle was on and it was HUGE. Once all the meat trays, Christmas presents and various things had been taken care of, we settled in for a good night of playing for our first visit at the club.

We've tried many different ways of arriving at a track order, post it notes, word documents, paper lists, random cd functions. This is driving me nuts!

And here's Michale Lynch from Shoehorse starting the mastering. Gotta be done by tomorrow...so we have to have the song order....ARGH!!!!

We're off to Kurnell tonight and we have Mr Wizards Birthday tomorrow so wish us luck!

Carls Chair Session #17 - Pete Gets No Sleep

Our hearts go out to Mr Doherty for his champion effort in final mixing last night (this morning?) until the wee small hours. Its done.

Yep, Carls Chair is almost ready. Michael at Shoehorse will be kicking off the mastering on Thursday, and I'd better get that artwork finished cos this sucker is going off for pressing next week.

The whole bunch of us working on this project have had a blast, and I think you'll hear it in the final result.

I'll post some samples after mastering.
