Well BLEEP all that because according to this review in No Depression, I've got a bigger pair of Cherries than James Taylor.

I think the review also says some nice stuff about the band and other stuff, I dunno, I posted the boys the link, they can blog about themselves, but seriously, James Taylor con Cojones is just the sweetest thing I think anyone has ever said to me. (sniffle).

Hey Sliders, we need some crafty people tradie help to do another crazy idea.

We have a local restaurant on Oxford St in Darlinghurst that has a downstairs bar they've offered to let us turn into a gig.

Will feature acoustic roots and blues and stuff, once a week.

We figured we'd give the place a clean out, a lick of paint, whack in a small (vocal) PA and try it for a few gigs and see how we go.

it's not a big space so theres not mountains of work but the sort of stuff we thought we might do:

- cut the bar in half

- move the sink back two metres (plumbing anyone?)

- clean out the basement 

- Interior design ideas? White with White with White? Hot Pink? Faux Leapoardskin? (oops, too late, we're got that already)

- Lighting?

There seems to be no shortage of muso's willing to come down and play, I've asked around, and the offer of a feed seems to be a strong inducement.

Anyway, if you'd be interested in seeing some live stuff curated by the curious fellows in Stormcellar + special guests, and you happen to have some tradie skills, drop us a line and volunteer to help.

We'd like to try and get some gig action there by the middle of February

This will be done on a wing and a prayer so it's no harm no foul if no one feels helping to make it happen, we'll be doing it and jamming down in the 'Cellar.

Now all I have to do do is tell the boys in the band that they're on painting duty. Probably need a skip bin. Maybe a barista?
