5D Update

After a decent pause we've shifted our attention to finishing the 5D project, well, because the stars aligned for this one. Ironic no?

Next week we may well be somewhere in the bush, recording for a few days.

Return To Skywatch 

We're trying to find a time to get back up to do a fund raiser for Skywatch, they could do with some help to spruce the dome up.

Still thinking of ways to help. Early December.

So here I am, all 'no touring take a breather'...except for finishing the 5D project. Ok no worries

So we'll just add a few elements for Sail Away.

Oh and maybe another take of Brave with your heart.

Plus it'd be good to do some stuff we've been working for Jo.

And we'll obviously need a electric version of Pirouette cos that came up nicely.

Ok so that wraps up everything I had in mind for 5D...unless we do that cover...

With the freedom to write what they feel like, as often as they want, they've gone bloody berserk and the stuff is piling up 'round me like bloody tribbles.

It's a great problem to have. It's a good time to write. The world's an interesting place right now and I am a fan of their work. Wonder how it will turn out.

In practical terms, it means 5D will become album 10, and whatever the heck this next lot is will be...are we even doing albums really any more? Does it matter?

Everytime you try, could be the best thing you've ever done.

I'm working on new things, when there's a break in the weather I hope to post some good solid positive stuff. There's enough trouble out there, this is still meant to be a place of safety.

When the bright line that separates good from ill is willfully diminished by our leaders, smudged and made unclear, we have a problem.

Nuance, understanding and quotes come to mind. There's a time for that. It's not now.

No to enabling hate by excusing it.

No to explaining it.

No to mitigating it because 'some of them are 'good people'.'

Hell no. 

Hate is the enemy of mankind.

Dehumanising your opponent, the swift path to the Abyss.

Nazism is done and dusted. Settled argument.

Resist now, explain later.

There's a bright line we need to polish so that everyone knows where it is.

To cross that bright line is to become the enemy of Humankind.
