Lighting guy? Soundo? Dressing room???  OMG the Luxury!

:-)

Howdy folks, we're still here and having a good time. We played the Diggers Showroom last night and got a bit spoiled. All that production, all those seats :-)

We're playing there again tonight and looking forward to it. We changed to a 2 set format for the room and that went very well. It was also great to catch up with some folks who have seen us both at last years festival and at some of our Sydney gigs, so a special shout out to Steve and Bernie.

You''ll have to wait for me to get back to my desktop before I start uploading photos and videos but we've seen some great stuff. Uncle Bobs Jugband (doing a country version of Kung Fu Fighting and honk honk honky tonk woman), Phil Emmanuel at the Tamworth Shopping World, Steve Passfield at the Diggers Breakfast Show and all sorts of stuff besides. Hopefully the boys will blog some of their musical adventures, as I have spent a fair bit of time on Kitchen Patrol (no rest for the wicked). The only sad note is that Jo F. will be heading back to Cumnock tomorrow after  putting in a stellar performance, however she has promised to rejoin us for our gig in Katoomba in April.

The weather has been bearably hot and the crowds are starting to build as the weekend approaches. After tonights gig we'll be moving to the Albert Hotel for a run of 4 shows there until the end of the festival, starting with  a late night, all electric fast stuff show, which will be a change as we've been plaing all the "nice" songs from our albums so far :-) Still, that has given us a chance to play Island Time, which hasnt been in the set for a while, and Company of A Friend (with Jo hre we'd be mad not too).

We're expecting some additional guests at our next few shows, I think Fettler will be dropping in on Friday and who knows who else!

There has been some great music from some great bands and its been worth all the effort to get here and make a tour happen. There's plenty more to tell you, but I'll wait until I can add the pictures and vids and just keep posting some brief updates in the interim.

More soon.
