Howdy folks, on this bright, sunny and very windy afternoon of blogging. We had a great evening at Stockton last night, Terry and his partner started the dancing straight away and it pretty much kept going from there. Hi to our visitors from Gunnedah and big thanks to Pete for saying nice stuff about us in the local magazine(gosh shucks).

As sometimes occurs in ventures such as ours, we had some minor technical hiccups yesterday. We were fielding a Brand New Awesome PA system, including the massive bass bins, latest RCF front of house, oh the glorious sound.

Of course, that's what i would be writing if we'd only had 2 leetle, teeny tiny adapters for the desk. Ye Gods. Suffice to say that a quick phone call to our recovering percussion section Theo, yielded a destination for an emergency dash for our golden roadie, Carl. BIG THANKS to Mike for the loan of the 3 pin adapters and Theo for saving our butts even when he's on the bench.
Thus, with sufficient adapters to hand, we had the gear going and yes, the sound was glorious, but it did occasion a few moments of sheer terror along the way.

Filling in for Theo last night was the man who hates drum solo's (just ask him), the marvelous Mr Tony Boyd. T-Bone took up the reins with gusto and delivered a monster performance. Way to go T-Bone! Although I think we may attempt to relabel him Thunderboyd, or T-Boyd :-) acknowledging his position as International Drummer Rescue. T-Boyd are go! Ignore the grammatical inconsistencies.

T-Boyd will be riding as regular deputy for the next few months, along with a supporting cast (OMG the puns! The Puns!) as Theo's shoulder heals, but if last night was anything to go by, we're in good hands.

We'll be at Pendle Hill this coming Saturday night with a new deputy (T-Boyd has to do his Mal Eastick gig, you know how it is when you;re in demand) and we look forward to seeing you, dear reader, at one of our coming gigs.

Rgds
