Its like a mystical cavern of treasure - the kings of the back catalogue Mojo let us in for a gig  on  (independent??) Record Store Day.

On a beautiful Autumn Sydney day on York St, noises could be heard coming from below the street...

As you follow the sounds...

Down, underneath the stairs you stop to look at posters for current happening stuff..

This is what places like Mojo do - they provide a place where people can access a greater variety of musical and performance ideas and expressions.

And if you stopped to grab your street press and kept walking into the shop...

 Stef and friends.

Ok so now you;re inside Mojo. What do you see? Hmm..lets take a wander through the shelves..

Hmmm something looks familiar....

HA! Got you with sneaky product placement again!  Our CD on the shelf next to MUDDY WATERS!! We're in good company. He might have a complaint about it but nope, we're cool. All good.

Look around and you start to see other interesting stuff:

A Good SIgn

Hmm...what's this?

My new 2nd fave shot of Rosie. This is just priceless. Setting up between the racks of music.

We had a blast yesterday and big cheers to Monte and Miss Nell, The Rumbler, Stef, the gang and Mojo and everyone who was celebrating Record Store Day.

We ran through a few choice cuts from our own back catalogue from Whiskey Talking to Nuevo Retro plus new stuff that hasn't been recorded yet. It was good, we had fun, yadda yadda, now lets go check the shelves for more cool stuff. LOL

That was a great vibe day and we were in the company of friends. Neat-o. Hopefully the other chaps will rave on about it as well so I can stop typing and go the our next gig.. Off to the Bald Rock we go!
