The show goes on right?

Millage's service was the other day. Another notable KC Blues player, Kool Aid, went recently as well.

Between the ravages of time and COVID, well, it's been a time hasn't it?

It appears that the pressure builds up behind things until it breaks free.

After what seems an age, there are a flurry of song releases imminent. If I am lucky, I'll get some of the web changes I have been aiming for done.

We do what we can, while we can, and appreciate what we do.

The show goes on. We might be in Claytons Lockdown 3 atm, and gigs might be for the brave, yet we are still working away.

It's chinese new year shortly and 2022 is here for real. Time to get on with it.

Vale, Millage Gilbert

It is with tremendous sadness that we mark the passing of Millage Gilbert, one of the last true delta bluesmen.

We were honored to work with, and write for, Millage.

We send our thoughts and prayers to his family, and to his very good friend and longtime colleague Dawayne Gilley.

We were due to tour with Millage in 2020. He cancelled at the last minute after his son became ill and he told me 'we'll do it next time'.

Ah bugger.

COVID slows production. Ok everything.

Healing vibes to Mr Wizard as well.Ye gods.

Meanwhile, we had our first person 'unfollow' us because I said something positive about masks and vaccines.

I'm boosted. The rest of us are boosted, and right now, with Sydney being the way it is, I'm wearing a mask. Our gigs are cancelled, venues are closed.

And now production on the backlog is slowed again as we enter 'Claytons Lockdown' as we are wisely realise that staying put, riding this out and waiting is the rational approach.

We can still get stuff done and we got setup to keep working remotely. It will slow us a little.
