Fascinating to self observe the process.
We're due to return to production and the dam kinda burst.
2024-25 had a whole bunch of bumpies. yeah I know, things are tough all over.
I have kept the maxim 'we are surfers' in mind as we engage with a world way outside our ability to dictate terms to. We make attempts. When they work, yay. When they floppe, okayyee.
Knowing when to droppe a floppe or to press furthere! Alors, I am now French. (clears filter) ahem ok. Right where was I? Oh yeah. Delicately calling various project failures by nice names.
Imagine my surprise when a wave shows up. Well actually that's kind of how things work, or have worked, and I can feel the vibe right now.
To surf this, we gotta hang loose but paddle like mad at appropriate moments until you're in the pocket and then ride the tube and try not to wipe out. I know all of those are words. Some of it may make sense.

With ex bass player Mal suggesting a venue for recording, investigation showed it's the ideal setting for Mr Wizards vibe, rural, bushland etc, we now have a target.

I have at least 6 songs I can bring into ready to record stage when it's the right time, a combo of it will come when it needs to, just like chase the dragon.

I have set a small target, 3 days, 6 songs. Mix back at basecamp 3 (my place)

Mal's suggesting it might turn into an event where people come and hang out, which under usual circumstances would be a No No, but somehow feels right for this one. It feels a bit hippy woodstock 'happening'

My target dates are either before end of year 2025 or end of Q1 2026.
Gotta be a bit loose with this stuff at present, it's coming together in its own way and interference from me can as easily get in the way as help.
